1:1 private lessons

My piano studio is equipped with two instruments. Students learn on a 1996 Kawai KG-2E grand piano, and I play in tandem on a Roland FP-30X. There is also an extensive library of music books.

STUDIO FAQs:

Lessons take place at 509 Bloor Street West (Studio B).

TTC Station: Bathurst (2 minute walk)

Parking: Green P street parking/lots are available along Bloor Street West and Borden Street.

The 2025-2026 year consists of 38 weeks of lessons between September 2025 and June 2026.

Lesson times are reserved on a yearly basis. Because specific times are reserved for specific students, students who do not attend a lesson will simply miss the lesson. There are no makeups or refunds given unless I am unable to teach the number of lessons outlined in the schedule.

Lessons are prorated for those who register at any point after the academic year has begun.

To maximize efficiency of studio lessons and record keeping, every lesson is documented in Google Docs. This ensures that miscommunications are seldom as students and parents have access to their personalized document at any given time. Each weekly entry outlines detailed practice expectations, technique assignments, repertoire selections, general commentary from the lesson, and reminders regarding deadlines and dates (studio recitals, exams). Performance goals are part of our structured weekly classes and culminate in recital opportunities and exams.
